My New Years resolution is to learn to speak Spanish. Why? My other resolution is to finally take a trip to visit Argentina (my husband wants to return after last being there 32 years ago) and to be able to understand and talk to those around me!

Would absolutely adore having a family portrait done. I have three beautiful children, one who especially loves to pose for the camera.

New Year's resolution: So many to choose from, honestly, one I want to work on is instilling in my children how blessed they are. Santa, Grandma and Grandpa brought them way tooo many presents so I really want to get them involved in helping others. Sounds cheesy, right, but it's true.

My New Years resolution is to learn to play guitar. I saved up money last summer by doing all sorts of odd jobs I had saved up about $400 dollars and 250 was for the guitar and case and 150 was for my school clothes, but I was starting college so I ended up buying the Guitar and a whole bunch of textbooks instead. My savings is all going towards books and tuition and I am working on getting some kind of part time job. Anyway basically because I am going to college and paying for all that stuff I can't pay for guitar lessons (even if I take them through the college it's an extra $280) So I want to teach myself that way I can learn to play and still use my money for college and classes I need.

This year I am making only 2 resolutions which will lead to quiet a lot I have determined...

1) Be healthier. (Which means actually getting up before the kids & working out even in the winter when I like my bed more than I do running.)
2) Enjoy my children more!
I often get so wrapped up trying to give them all I want for them - I don't spend the time I would like to PLAYING WITH them. They are growing up so fast. Hopefully I will win some fabulous photography to capture these sweet moments while they are still young.

Thanks! Happy New Year!

Julie, thank you for sharing your wonderful talent for photography on your blog, and thank you for the opportunity to win this amazing photography giveaway!

My New Year resolution for 2010 is to LIVE.

For the past five years I haven't done much living. Five years ago I had my fourth spinal surgery, and spent a year in bed. After that I fell into a deep depression, got addicted to my pain medication, and lost my love for life.

Earlier this year I made the decision that because I wasn't actually living, that I would end what I had left in life. Thankfully God saved me from myself, and got me through my crisis. I was able to enter a hospital, and recover not only mentally, but physically as well. I was able to break my addiction to pain medications, and learned to love life again. I now have hope for the future, and so many plans for my life.

I have made the commitment to LIVE, and to start my new life in 2010. During 2010 I plan on starting up my own business selling my artwork (which I finally started up again after years of not being inspired enough to do), and want to share it with the world. I plan on moving out of my parents house (I had to rely on them when I couldn't take care of myself), and be able to support myself and be independent.

Anyway, I'm sure you get the picture. So yes, my New Years resolution is to live once again!

My resolution is to focus on being more productive with my time. Is there something I can do better than what I am currently doing (i.e. can I get off the computer and do something more productive?).

ONE of my new years resolutions is to do a load of laundry every day. Not earth shattering I know, but it catches up on me so fast and then I feel like I spend an entire day just switching loads in and out.

My New Year's Resolution is to get a family portrait. The last time we had a family picture taken was 8 years ago! We have even had two more children since then, and don't even a family picture with them in it. Please help!

To take better care of myself.

I am glad that I am now forced to think about making a New Year's Resolution. I would say to have pictures done since my last 2 children have never had their pictures taken professionally and we have never had a family portrait done... but I would say it is to be happy every day and enjoy my kids while they are little because it will be gone too soon.

I don't believe in resolutions because I think they are resolving something that from the previous year. Instead I set goals or targets for the up coming year. This year is to graduate college. My goal is by September to have everything done!

I would love to have a nice family picture with my mom and family. Of course I want my husband included, but I don't think my family has had a professional picture taken for many many years. My dad passed away a few years ago and my sister and I are already married. I would love to do this for my mom before our family changes too much.
My New Year's resolution is always to workout more and lose weight, but I'd really like to be better with money and try to start a family!!

What a great give-a-way!
We have a family resolution. As a new family with 2 girls and a baby boy, we want to grow and prosper as a family.
Our resolution is to become more healthy as a family: this includes all of us eating a multitude of colors a week, whole grains and only sweets on the weekend, regular family exercise and also individual, living by faith using prayer as a means of a solution and becoming more financially responsible. We want to use our money more efficiently and make it go further.
